  • ...if there were more places like this: the world would be a better place.
    Dear Sabine, dear François!
You provide a little piece of paradise for people who feel at home in a tent. One can feel the love that is in your place: it is so soothing and gives one the feeling of being at home on this earth. In the midst of wonderful people.
We wish you all the very best from the bottom of our hearts!
Here's to hopefully one more time in this life!
    Merci pour tout.
    Joana

  • Hello.
    Auvillar!
After a trip along the Garonne canal from Toulouse, it turns out that this place was like a refuge for me, a necessary rebirth because my legs no longer belonged to me. Was it necessary to do it in 6 hours in this overheated summer?
In any case, it's a place where we're self-sufficient, with a tent pitch, shower, toilet and a cleverly thought-out kitchenette, with just the right amount of essentials. Like anti-mosquito protection (Tiger).
A big thank you to the hosts of this place, present, discreet and most welcoming.

NB: I only put excellence because it leaves room for progress without claiming perfection!

  • The nugget of my cycling trip :)
A little cocoon in a beautiful village with such warm hosts!
Thank you Sabine and François for what you've created and for your warm welcome. Everything was perfect ✨️

  • If the place has a few charms that don't leave you indifferent, it's Sabine and François who make this little spot a must-see! Thank you, Sabine!

  • Well located, very clean, and quiet.

  • great welcome at a distance from the world...all in simplicity and bohemian atmosphere

  • Incredible welcome by Sabine and her husband. A real little paradise was waiting for us and it warms the heart.
Everything is present for the minimum comfort, up to the bicycle pump for the cyclotourists.
    I highly recommend it!

  • We received an excellent welcome. Sabine knew how to listen to our needs. Thank you again. Marie and Christian.

  • Small corner of paradise on the way to St. James which is altered by the presence of mosquitoes. Fortunately, weapons to fight them are provided.

  • Great host. Very good welcome and the place is superb.
A lot of attention to our needs.

  • A warm and friendly welcome, we feel that Sabine likes to take care of her place and the people she welcomes. A very nice meeting. It is very well equipped, there is everything, we feel like at home. We had a blow of heart for the village also. Thank you for everything Sabine!

  • A very good address located halfway between the small port of Auvillar and the charming little town. You have all the comforts of a shower and toilet close to the pitches with everything you need for a little tea, a coffee in the morning, to charge a cell phone, to keep some food in the fridge, to eat under the shelter of the rain or the sun... Very pleasant reception of Sabine with the smile and these councils, as well for a restaurant as for a repairer of bicycle;)
Thank you Sabine and good continuation

  • Nice little place with everything you need for hikers, close to a wonderful village. The only problem is the numerous mosquitoes!

  • Very quiet place. Close to the village. Ideal to rest and enjoy the calm.

  • Super small Gamping very popular because only 3 sites. It is located on the heights of Auvillar and thus overhangs the Garonne. Really good after a day of walking or biking, you can recharge your batteries, take a shower, and enjoy the quiet place. The owner is very friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend ....

  • Spent two nights in a quiet place, very nice reception, I recommend

  • The 5 stars everywhere is not due to laziness. The reception and the site is just perfect. You can feel that it was built after experience in campsites.
My last minute reservation went through without a hitch.

  • last minute reservation despite that a warm welcome! thank you again, it would have been difficult for us to find something close because we were on a bike and with this frame! nice first experience on Home camper!

  • We had a very pleasant stay with Sabine and François. Their warm welcome made us feel good right away and the camp site in the middle of nature is conducive to meetings and exchanges with other travelers. It is also very close to the center but not too much in the heights of Auvillar what facilitates the arrival when we travel by bike.
Thank you Sabine and François for this beautiful moment, we hope to come back soon!

  • Superb welcome from Sabine. I loved the place of bric and broc, hippie spirit ???? .
The village of Auvillar is also beautiful. I recommend 100%.

  • Very pleasant welcome from Sabine and François for a night of camping in the beautiful village of Auvillar

  • What a beautiful place! Small but nice with everything you need. Exactly what you are looking for when you are on the road by bike (or on foot).

  • Very good welcome and attention from Sabine. Quiet and discreet site
    Good choice

  • If you like calm, nature and simplicity, don't hesitate for a moment. Only a few steps away from this wonderful village, it is the singing of the birds that will wake you up in the morning.
Here is a place as one would like to find elsewhere.
Thank you Sabine for your warm welcome and kindness.

  • Very nice hosts, quiet and restful land, I highly recommend

  • Nice place, nicely furnished, welcoming and quiet!
To recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet! Sabine's welcome is warm!

  • We had a wonderful stay with Sabine and François, very friendly hosts and always with good advice. In the rush of the departure we could not thank them in their guestbook but the heart was there!

  • Sabine & François put many efforts in creating creating a cosy place with all comfort, but made it such a cosy place with eye for detail.

  • Great place, nice host, I recommend!

  • Nice little corner of greenery and very nice hosts. Auvillard is also a nice village. A good place to stop !

  • Great stay! Sabine and François are super nice! It was very relaxing and the setting is really nice! The terrace is very appreciable. Very good stay in Auvillar

  • A great welcome from Sabine and François !
They have created a little corner of paradise at the foot of Auvillar.
The small shelter is really at the top, super clean and nicely decorated, all the necessary to make camping comfortable. We particularly appreciated to be able to make a coffee and a tea for the breakfast.
We would have liked to stay there for a whole week!

  • Pleasant stay. Sabine and François are friendly and kind to their guests. The village of Auvillar is a must-see with its very steep roads and paths! It's a pity that it rained during the whole night. Only drawback: the mosquitoes which adored our legs and thighs :). Marie Agnès and Jean Pierre

  • Very good location in Auvillar, a perfect stop for cyclotourists doing the route along the voie des deux mers. Very nice and warm welcome from Sabine and François, with many precious advices about the bike routes, the restaurants around and the local activities (for example the market of Valence d'Agen on Tuesday morning). The facilities (shower, kitchen area, sanitary) are top notch and we can easily take shelter in case of rain. In short, we had a very good night at Sabine and François' place, and we recommend it to all travelers, especially to cyclotourists.

  • Sabine and Francois are really nice and know how to receive their guests I recommend

  • Ideal place to stop for a night while hiking. The welcome is warm and friendly, the setting magnificent and calm. It is like home, it is a place that we would like to see more often!

  • I didn't have the opportunity to meet Sabine but I had a nice exchange with Francois, their little place is very good to spend one or two nights and the village of Auvillar is absolutely superb, to see!

  • Thank you Sabine! It was a good experience. Quiet and comfortable!

  • Great stay !

  • Very good reception. Well supplied. A good night!

  • A very nice place to stay. Sabine and Francois were very nice , kind and helpful.

A very nice place to stay. Sabine and Francois were very nice, kind and helpful.

  • Very pleasant welcome and cute setting close to the center of Auvillar. Sabine and François had thought of everything. I recommend it.

  • Surprising at the beginning to find materials of construction site on the site .... and then we got used to it ... and we even liked it. Sabine and François were adorable....and that's the most important. The site is also very calm. and it's great to have a house background and to make a theme. Thank you

  • Excellent welcome, interesting conversation about the bike trip, all in a very pleasant setting (Auvillar is a charming village, worth seeing); as for the installation, there is everything you need, nothing to complain about. Thank you

  • Thanks to our hosts we discovered a breathtaking village. We had a really warm welcome from Sabine who seems to be a very nice person. We had chosen the option of lending a tent which was not very cheap but the experience was worth it and we have the chance to share an evening with hikers from St Jacques. It is very likely that we will stop again at Sabine and Francois. Last but not least, the facilities are very clean and very practical. Long live gamping

  • Superb welcome from Sabine and François, very nice people. A good time.
    Very good location.
