Description

The usable area of this lot is 80' parrael to the lake and about 50' from the lake. Some room for overflow in 30' just before entrance and south of lot is wooded and vacant with 10'+- wide trail.

The setting

End of road with private access to vacated old hwy 65 for a nice walking trail to sandy, wide open point on the water, with wonderful view across whole north side of Big Sandy, north of McGregor MN

The spots

Driving onto the 80+ foot wide lot a RV is easily parked with room for another side by side parallel to lake shore 40'+- away. depending on size dictates how many RV's. Space is that straight into lot side by side if needed for level land. Also an area that 4-5 cars could park.

The sanitary facilities

There is the Sandy Lake Recreation Area and Libby Dam less than a mile north. They have showers, drinking water, boat ramp, docks, hiking trails and RV facilities. As of now no water or electric on site.

The amenities

quite and peaceful the minute yoou shut down and step outside. If it's a clear night with a fire on the beach and your lucky enough to have the space station passing over with an abundance of stars, stay up or wake early to catch the sunrise over the lake from your front row seats.

The activities

National golf course close by with first class restaurant inside lodge. Dress up or down the food is great.

Other things

The usable area of this lot is 80' parrael to the lake and about 50' from the lake. Some room for overflow in 30' just before entrance and south of lot is wooded and vacant with 10'+- wide trail.

Rules

leave nothing when you leave other than leftover firewood if not needed. This is not a bonfire and kegger destination, avoid bottled drinks to minimize breaking and safety. If you party and think the lake is where you throw cans and bottles a possible cleanup deposit will be forfeited. Protecting the lake is part of the culture and the right thing to do.
